She started taking pictures in the Philippines when her dad was stationed there during the Vietnam War. In 1970 she started her career at the rolling stone. During her career she took portraits of many celebrities such as John Lennon, Pete Townsend, and Iggy Pop. I think that Annie Leibovitz is a great photographer because her portraits are always creative and that is often hard to do.
